How To Sign Up For Commercial Service
Little Ocmulgee EMC serves a wide range of commercial accounts, from farm and small business to hotels and restaurants to large manufacturing and distribution. Whatever your business needs, large or small, Little Ocmulgee EMC has the experience and expertise to meet them.
To become a member and sign up a service, you will need to:
Appear in person at one of our offices. Please bring your photo ID and your tax ID.Fill out an Application for Commercial Electric Service and Application for Membership for Electric Service. You can fill out an application at our offices, or click on and print our application package PDF and bring it to our offices. You will also need to pay
A $5.00 Membership Fee.A $15.00 Account Establishment Fee.A deposit based on your credit rating. The Membership Fee and deposit must be paid before your electric service can be connected.
Due to the wide range of business accounts, applying for commercial service also depends on the type of account. Connecting a small retail store is different than building a three-phase line to a large manufacturer, and providing service to a garage is different than providing service to irrigation. In addition to applying for membership and paying an account establishment fee, as you would for a residential account, a commercial account also may require a contract for service. Other requirements are specific to the type of account.
