How To Sign Up For Residential Service

Sign Up Using Our Online Web Form!Click here To Download The Application!
  • When you sign up for service with an electric cooperative, you're doing more than becoming a customer. You're becoming a member of one of over 900 electric cooperatives serving the U.S. Unlike other utilities, as a cooperative member, you have a say in how your company operates. To become a member and sign up a service, you will need to:

  • Apply online or appear in person at one of our offices. If you apply at our offices, please bring your photo ID and your Social Security number.
  • Fill out an Application for Electricity and Application for Membership for Electric Service. You can apply online by clicking this link, fill an application at our offices, or click on and print our application package PDF and bring it to our offices.
  • You will also need to pay

  • -A $5.00 Membership Fee.
  • -A $15.00 Account Establishment Fee.
  • -A deposit of $0 for a low risk credit rating; $300 for a medium risk credit rating; or $600 for a high risk credit rating.

  • The Membership Fee and deposit must be paid before your electric service can be connected.

  • Also bring directions to where you'll be living and the 911 address. If you know who previously lived at the location, or have the meter number, it can help us find where you live. If this is for a new house or trailer, you'll also need to schedule a time for our staking engineer to meet with you on the site to determine the best way to serve your account. New houses and trailers will also have to be inspected by your county before we can turn the electricity on.

  • Current Little Ocmulgee EMC members may contact the office to add or change services to accounts.
