How To Sign Up For Commercial Service

Little Ocmulgee EMC serves a wide range of commercial accounts, from farm and small business to hotels and restaurants to large manufacturing and distribution. Whatever your business needs, large or small, Little Ocmulgee EMC has the experience and expertise to meet them.
Steps to Become a Member:
1. Choose Your Primary Application Form:
IMPORTANT: If you choose the online application option, you must also complete the Commercial/Industrial Project Application. Failure to submit the project application (via email to [email protected]) will result in your application not being processed.
2. Submit your completed forms :
  • Paper Application: Submit in person at any of our offices. (Remember to bring your photo ID and tax ID.
  • Online Application: After completing the online application, email the completed Commercial/Industrial Project Application to [email protected].
3. Upon submission, you'll be required to pay:
  • A $5.00 Membership Fee.
  • A $15.00 Account Establishment Fee.
  • A deposit amount determined by your credit rating.
  • Note: Both the Membership Fee and the deposit are prerequisites for connection of your electric service.
Variability Based On Business Type:
The application process can vary slightly based on the type of commercial account. For example, connecting a small retail store varies from setting up a large manufacturing unit. Similarly, providing electric service to a garage has different requirements than serving an irrigation system. Beyond the application and membership fee, some commercial accounts might also necessitate a contract.
