How To Sign Up For Commercial Service

Little Ocmulgee EMC serves a wide range of commercial accounts, from farm and small business to hotels and restaurants to large manufacturing and distribution. Whatever your business needs, large or small, Little Ocmulgee EMC has the experience and expertise to meet them.
Important Note: While there are multiple application forms available, every applicant, regardless of which primary form they choose, MUST also fill out the additional new form. This ensures we have all the necessary details to serve you better.
Steps to Become a Member:

3. Submit your completed forms:
  • Online, if you opted for the online application
  • In person at any of our offices. Remember to bring along your photo ID and tax ID.
4. Upon submission, you'll be required to pay:
  • A $5.00 Membership Fee.
  • A $15.00 Account Establishment Fee.
  • A deposit amount determined by your credit rating.
  • Note: Both the Membership Fee and the deposit are prerequisites for connection of your electric service.
Variability Based On Business Type:
The application process can vary slightly based on the type of commercial account. For example, connecting a small retail store varies from setting up a large manufacturing unit. Similarly, providing electric service to a garage has different requirements than serving an irrigation system. Beyond the application and membership fee, some commercial accounts might also necessitate a contract.
